The choice to hire a professional landscape designer may be one of the wisest investments you can make towards enhancing your home and property. A well-completed landscape design not only increases the enjoyment of your home, but it extends the actual square footage of usable space into the garden. Reports have shown that thoughtfully created outdoor spaces can increase the value of a home up to 20%.

By employing the services of Beyond the Gate Landscape Design, exceptional design results can be obtained while preventing pricey oversights and unnecessary confusion!

Services

Consultation: Consultations are available for people who have questions about their existing space or need some general ideas and guidance for their property. For example, a consultation can involve questions about why that plant is not working where it is planted, how to better take care of the space, or maintenance requirements, etc. Consultations are charged on a per hour basis.

Landscape Designs: The landscape design process allows you to be fully involved in the project if you want, or you can let the professional make the decisions for you. Whichever way you choose, the landscape design encompasses the entire space in one well-thought-out, cohesive plan that can be installed now or done in stages. With this comprehensive set of plans, construction can easily be done by a licensed contractor, who is able to see your full vision on paper and give you an accurate estimate, or, if you are the do-it-yourself type, it can be installed by you. Landscape Designs are charged on a flat fee basis.

The Design Process: If you choose to do a landscape design, the initial meeting is free of charge. After we agree upon the terms of the design, Beyond the Gate Landscape Design will measure your space to create an accurate site map. At the next meeting, we will present a conceptual layout to you that shows the hardscape items (such as patios, water features, arbors, etc) and layout of lawn and planter areas. At that point, you can make changes if necessary. From the agreed upon conceptual layout plan, the third meeting is the presentation of the final plans. This includes the revised conceptual layout and any necessary landscape sheets (planting plans, low voltage lighting plans, etc). At that point,  we can supply you with names of recommended contractors or suggest ways to complete the project yourself.
